Seventy-plus years of the Well Dressed Breakfast.
Since 1948
Crocker’s opened on 19th Street in 1948, and it has been feeding Costa Mesa breakfast ever since. The cottage is small and mustard-yellow with dark wood trim — the kind of building you’d drive past if you didn’t already know.
Over the decades the dining room spilled out back into a garden: a wood pergola strung with climbing roses, wine-barrel tables, and a patch of gravel that somehow feels like the whole point of the place. Regulars know to ask for a patio seat.

Crocker's opens its doors in Costa Mesa, cooking the kind of scratch breakfast that gets a diner a seventy-year run.

Celebrating every bite
Same cheddar chive biscuits, same Chicago dog, same crew who knows your order. A County of Orange Award of Excellence on the wall to prove it.
The Garden
A pergola, a few roses, and nowhere to be.
The back patio does most of the talking here. Wine barrels for tables, black iron chairs, and a second, smaller nook shaded by a canvas sail for the overflow crowd on weekends.
What We Believe
Cook it fresh. Treat people right.
No shortcuts on the biscuits, no rushing the eggs. The County of Orange handed Crocker’s its Award of Excellence for exactly the standard you’d hope a 70-plus-year-old kitchen still holds itself to.
